Embrace the way
 your mind actually works

Personalized dissertation coaching that helps ADHD graduate students align their way of writing with their way of thinking

Most dissertation advice assumes that you:

think and progress linearly with consistent, predictable energy

naturally sustain focus on one defined question or topic

initiate tasks easily and transition between them smoothly

somehow already have impeccable project management skills

That's why most dissertation advice simply

does not work when you have ADHD –

and leads to                  instead of productivity.

SHAME

You're not imagining it.
Writing a dissertation with ADHD
is very, very hard...

You sit down to write but can't focus, leaving you anxious, overwhelmed, and incredibly frustrated.

You're reading the literature, taking the notes, having the ideas – then struggling to remember any of it.

Some days you can write 15 pages in one sitting, but others you toil for 4 hours on one paragraph, making consistent and predictable progress feel out of reach.

That perfect plan you made on Monday? Useless by Wednesday.

You know you're smart. So you don't know why you can't seem to translate your thoughts into the clear, organized, academic prose your committee expects.

You're feel exhausted all the time, but also feel like you've done nothing and gotten nowhere.

You constantly feel behind, and worry you're disappointing everyone around you. You know what you need to do. You just can't seem to do it.

You're not incapable.
You need a better approach.

I get it – because I've been there too.

I thought I knew how to write. Then I got to the dissertation,

and all my old strategies (and coping mechanisms) no longer worked, which led to sheer panic.

I had to rebuild my writing process from the ground up.

After years of trial and error, I finally stopped trying to fit myself into someone else's mold and started developing flexible project management systems around the way I think. These new systems got me further than my old ways ever could have.

Now, as an academic writing coach, I help other grad students with ADHD develop their own personalized writing systems:

ones that actually work for them — and get the work done.

Yes, you can finish your dissertation

with confidence instead of shame

with clarity instead of chaos

with creative energy instead of exhaustion

And doing so will give you the skills & confidence
to finish the next thing, too.
